  • Class tuition varies each trimester based on the class and materials required. Most classes range from $45–$180 per class, per trimester.
For current offerings and detailed pricing, please refer to our class listings.

  • Bloom is a community-driven program, and we strongly encourage families to take part in volunteer roles.
Volunteer participation helps keep our program running smoothly and allows us to offer reduced tuition opportunities.

We cap our drop-off only enrollment at 20% per trimester.

  • We offer both stay-and-participate and drop-off options, depending on availability. Parents are not required to remain on-site unless they are actively volunteering during that time.

A designated parent space is available for those who choose to stay.

  • Class Memberships are often full. Instead of a traditional waitlist, Bloom uses a waiting pool system.
Spots are offered based on availability and our enrollment structure, with priority given to families who are actively contributing to the community.

  • We prioritize enrollment in the following order:

    • Families with Volunteer Commitment – Families willing to take on volunteer roles are given priority for available spots. Bloom is a community-driven program, and active participation helps support the success of our classes.

    • Drop-off Families – Families requesting drop-off only will be placed in the waiting pool after those committed to volunteering. As space allows, spots may be offered.

  • Yes. Families may take one trimester off per calendar year and retain their active member status, as long as they notify us before registration opens.

  • Bloom offers reduced tuition to support families who are actively volunteering within the program.

    Volunteering
Families with a parent willing to take on an ongoing volunteer role may receive a tuition reduction of 25–100% (for up to 3 enrolled children).
Volunteer roles may include class leads, classroom helpers, administrative support, setup/cleanup, and more.

    Sibling Discount
We also offer a discount for families enrolling multiple children:

    • 10% off total tuition for families with 2–3 children enrolled

    • 20% off total tuition for families with 4 or more children enrolled

For larger families or unique situations, additional flexibility may be available. Please reach out to discuss options—we’re happy to work with you to make participation possible.

FAQ - The Hive

  • The Hive is a weekly program for homeschool teens (ages 13–17) and an extension of Bloom: A Homeschool Collective.
It focuses on connection, leadership, and real-life skills in a supportive, social environment.

  • The Hive meets on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Clyde/Wadhams area at the same facility as our other weekly classes.

  • Each day is designed to balance structure and flexibility, with plenty of time for both learning and connection:

    • 10:00–10:15 → Arrival + social time

    • 10:15–11:00 → Core Block (rotating themes such as leadership, current events, debate, and life skills)

    • 11:00–11:30 → Lunch + social time

    • 11:30–12:00 → Games or outdoor time

    • 12:00–12:30 → Connect/Choice time (games, continued discussion, or themed activities)

    • 12:30–1:30 → Volunteer Block

The overall flow is intentionally relaxed while still providing meaningful structure and engagement.

  • Activities vary week to week but may include:

    • group discussions

    • student-led projects

    • light debate and current events

    • life skills (such as budgeting or planning)

    • team challenges and games

    • volunteer opportunities within the co-op

There is also built-in time for socializing and connection throughout the day.

  • The final hour of each day is dedicated to volunteering within the co-op.
Teens will take on responsibilities such as classroom helping, organizing materials, assisting with concessions, and supporting younger groups.

This helps build responsibility, confidence, and a sense of ownership within the community.

  • Yes, The Hive is designed as a drop-off program for teens.
Parents are welcome to remain on-site if they prefer or if they are volunteering within the program, but it is not required.

  • That’s completely normal. Many teens come in feeling unsure at first.
The Hive is intentionally designed to be welcoming and low-pressure, with a mix of structured activities and relaxed social time to help teens ease in and build connections at their own pace.

  • The spring session is 8 weeks and $180 at our founder’s rate, which includes all activities.

  • Reduced tuition may be available for families who take on volunteer roles within Bloom. Please see more information about reduced tuition in the above section “Class Membership”.

  • Yes, Bloom has a $40 annual family membership, which supports the program and gives your family access to the broader Bloom community and events throughout the year.

  • Teens should bring a lunch, water bottle, and anything they may need for personal comfort.
    All program materials are provided.

  • The Hive is best suited for teens who are open to participating in group activities and being part of a community.
While the environment is relaxed and social, there is an expectation of respectful participation.
